Second, clarify the flow rate: The flow rate of the selected manual metering pump should be equal to or slightly larger than the flow rate required by the processing technology. The applicable range of the flow rate of the metering pump is 30 to 99.9% of the rated flow rate of the metering pump. At this time, the repeatability of the metering pump is high. Considering the high cost performance, it is suggested that the specific flow rate of the metering pump should be selected as 70-90% of the rated flow rate of the metering pump.
3. Clarify the material of the pump impeller (hydraulic end): After confirming the specific specification and model of the metering pump, select a part of the material that flows through the flow medium according to the characteristics of the flow medium. It is very important, if the selection is unreasonable, it will cause the medium to corrode and destroy the overcurrent components or the medium leakage and environmental pollution. In more serious cases, it may also lead to major safety accidents.
Aspects: When selecting a metering pump, the accuracy level of the metering pump should also be considered. The higher the accuracy level, the more investment. The general ambient temperature of domestic metering pumps is -30 to 100 °C, and the operating temperature range of unique metering pumps is wider (such as high temperature liquid horizontal metering pumps with thermal insulation collets, the transmission ambient temperature can reach 500 °C). For the particle size distribution of the medium, it is stipulated that it should be less than 0.1mm. For the medium exceeding 0.1mm, the flow structure of the pump can be changed in a targeted manner to meet the requirements. For the viscosity of the medium, it should generally be 0~1000mm/s, and the special metering pump can reach 6000mm2/s. The flow rate of the diaphragm metering pump of mechanical equipment should be measured at the calibrated rated pressure. The maximum flow rate (when cold water is transported at room temperature) ), if the pressure decreases, the output flow will be higher than the calibration.
